Chad Payne
I'm a fashion model from Durban, South Africa, based between Cape Town, Milan and New York. I studied at Stellenbosch University and have been modelling since 2015.
In 2020 I was a Top 5 finalist on Netflix's Model, South Africa's first reality competition series made for a global audience. It led to signing with 20 Management and building a career across editorial, campaign and runway.
My editorial work spans Vulkan, Vanguard, Sunday Times STYLE, CAP 74024 (Milan), L'Effronté Journal (Paris), Heavy Feral (Berlin), Spheres and Flanelle, with covers for Vulkan, Vanguard, L'Effronté and Vangardist. Campaigns include Heineken, Sanlam, Huawei, American Crew and the Polish beers Żywiec and Lech. On the runway I've walked Gavin Rajah, South African Fashion Week, AFI Joburg Fashion Week and SA Menswear Week.
Represented internationally by Indastria Model Management (Milan) and Model of Choice (New York and Los Angeles), and at home by 20 Management (Cape Town mainboard) and MyFriendNed (Johannesburg).
